Already three universities express interest in cooperation with us

Tidal power station
Young students during commissioning of a tidal power station

Already three universities from Thailand have made us offers to cooperate in sustainable project development.

It is primarily about sustainable and alternative energy production projects.

The pictures show a test project for generating electricity from tidal power. The students of a university from Bangkok are visibly trying to accomplish the experimental setup of this small tidal power station. As we learned from her professor, the experimental setup was sponsored by a private company.

Impeller does not turn
What is the cause that the impeller does not turn and the tidal power plant does not supply electricity?

The professor, who studied in Vienna by the way, invited us to visit the faculty during our next stay in Thailand and to talk about the possible cooperation. The first projects could then start in 2019 if our club manages to be approved until then.

Flow velocity of the tide
Here the flow velocity of the flood is determined. Actually, the rich would have to (2 m per second)

Our contact, which is supposed to tackle our island project, will have a busy time to get the registration or the admission until then brought to the stage. But we are glad to hope and expect that to succeed.

Incidentally, the experiment was successfully completed. The “power plant” provided electricity.
